Lake Park Beach Lewisville

On a weekday morning we had the beach ALL TO OURSELVES. Weekends are a different story, definitely more crowded but the waterline is huge so you will be able to find a spot distant enough from others to enjoy. Lake Park has camping, boat ramps, play grounds, picnic tables, and a wonderful sandy beach. Not the best sandy beach on Lake Lewisville because Little Elm holds that title, but especially right now when you need a quieter place, Lake Park is prime.

What to bring: blanket or chairs to sit on, lifejackets, and all of the beach/sand toys

Parking: this is the worst because it’s $10 to get in and I normally like to recommend free areas. There may be some free parking around though. The address is 600 Sandy Beach Rd, Lewisville, TX 75057. Pay then drive alllllll the way down, you’ll know when you’re at the beach spot.

Besides paying to get in, the other con is that there is some trash. No glass, but more trash than I would prefer (I prefer zero).

Overall the kids had fun for 2.5 hours and could have stayed longer. That’s a WIN!
